The restaurant’s curved roof, crafted from warm wood, extends outwards, creating a sheltered space for patrons. The process of creating a diagrid structure. A cylinder is initially divided into a grid of boxes, each measuring 7.2m by 3.3m. This grid is then manipulated to form a three-dimensional surface, resulting in the distinctive diagrid pattern. The exploded view highlights the intricate geometry and structural logic behind this architectural element. The flowing curve of the restaurant’s roof contrasts beautifully with the rectilinear lines of the tower. The use of natural materials like wood and greenery adds warmth and texture.
